Textile Plus

A mixed- media collection featuring contemporary handmade glass jewellery by Ralph Saunders, using Italian flame glass; colourful watercolour cards and prints by Annette Rumbelow; handmade felt and fabrics combining thread and stitch by Pat Frost; photography of natural forms, including flowers and landscapes by Christine Charles; mixed- media textile art, using recycled materials and found objects by Maria Harryman; photography from travels around the globe by Jim Wilson.

Turn off B3414 ( Warminster- Heytesbury road ) at signpost for Norton Bavant. Continue to red phone box, park in road or playing field as signposted. Follow on foot to village hall. Or take Sutton Veny road from A36 and continue until right- hand turning into Norton Bavant.

Pottery studio open showing a variety of artists work:  hand thrown pottery and one-off handbuilt ceramics by Jo Duggan. A mixture of landscape, macro, micro flower and abstract photographs by David Gilmore. Textile art by Sally Passfield inspired by the incredible textures and colours of nature. A range of jewellery handmade by Carolyn Crossman using a combination of silver, gold and semi-precious stones.

2- acre fantasy sculpture garden with over 80 surreal zoomorphic and anthropomorphic sculptures made with recycled materials by Anthony Wilson. Work in a variety of media by Paul Boswell’ including spray paint and trash sculpture, often combining the two to create a form of 3D graffiti.  Rachel Macleay works with found objects, giving further life to abandoned items, creating new beings or worlds. Also new collaborative work between all 3 artists: large murals of Aztec and jungle scenes, embellished with sculpture on garage and huts.
