Work inspired by the local landscape, exploring the qualities of fabrics- layering, distressing and fraying, with stitchery to embellish and highlight, indicating lots of texture and depth. Other work based on love quotations, incorporating found objects, juxtaposing fabrics and threads with opposing qualities of scale or strength.
