Welcome to the fourth Wylye Valley
Art Trail, A 9 - day celebration of visual arts activity in and
around the Wylye Valley, South Wiltshire from 26 May to 3 June 2007.
It provides a unique opportunity to visit open studios and
workplaces, group exhibitions and galleries, see the range of work
being carried out in this area, and to meet and talk to artists and
craftspeople. |

Following the Trail Each entry gives directions for visitors from a main road. Also, look out for the numbered yellow Trail marker signs, which will direct you to each event. It is also advisable to have a road map to hand If you would like to follow the trail by bike, much of it coincides with the Wiltshire Cycleway. (Wilts Cycleway details from Tourist information Centres) Unless otherwise stated, venues are open every day from 26 May - 3 June. Opening times are from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. Check the calendar for each event ( example below ), dates in light grey indicate that it is closed:
All the events are free admission. Much of the work on view is for sale and many of the artists and craftspeople will work to commission |

Refreshments There are some excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants on the trail, but also many of the Art Trail venues are offering refreshments, look out for the symbols |

or copy and paste into an email. Or you can find one in the Wylye Valley Art Trail
guidemap. Fill
out the visitors' questionnaire, then post it or hand it in at the
last venue you visit. You will be entered into a draw for the
'Trailblazers Prize': a £50 voucher to spend with one of the Trail
